For those that want the best of the best, Rusty’s now offers the RX900 shock absorber. Available as an upgrade with our premium suspension systems, the RX900 offers race-inspired technology at a great value. The RX900 has the same excellent specifications as our RX800, but with the added benefit of a remote reservoir for even more off-road performance and durability. Built in the USA to our exact standards, the RX900 is vailable for several popular Jeep models and lift heights. It provides a nice comfortable ride on the street while providing the extra dampening needed when the going gets rough, combined with extra fluid capacity and a high-pressure gas charge to prevent shock fade.

Rusty’s RX900 Shock Absorber features a 14mm chrome-hardened piston shaft for superior rigidity and minimal seal wear. The shaft itself is coated with a unique black chromate that is actually more durable to chrome, while offering better resistance to rust than other shocks. The shock body itself is constructed of 2" diameter seamless DOM tubing for excellent heat-transfer, and the outside of the shock has a durable black diamond powdercoated finish. Inside, the massive 1-3/4" diameter piston has progressive valving that is tuned to provide a smooth ride on the road but has the ability to quickly step up the dampening and effectively smooth out the bumps off the pavement. A 10-inch remote reservoir that is tethered to the main body of the shock with a stainless steel hose for extra oil capacity. This extra oil helps combat shock fade during extended high-speed off-road use, so the RX900 continues to do the job when other shocks fade away.
