2012 Jeep Beach

Wednesday, May 16, 2012
The 2012 Jeep Beach event was another great success! We would estimate about the same number of participants as last year, which means there were plenty of people trying their hand at the obstacle course, checking out the vendor row, and of course making their rounds on Daytona Beach. We're always amazed at variety of Jeeps that show up for this event; it seemed like just about every year of every model of every color was represented! The beach parade was especially impressive, with a line of Jeeps that stretched as far as the eye could see. Even the weather cooperated this year; though it was plenty warm, there was none of that liquid sunshine that sent everyone packing a little early last year. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Rusty's booth to say hello, and you can be sure we'll be back next year!

2012 Easter Jeep Safari

Monday, April 9, 2012
The 2012 Easter Jeep Safari was great this year! The weather cooperated for the most part (rain only one evening but some fairly heavy winds off and on throughout the week), and though attendance seemed a little down as compared to last year, there were still a ton of Jeeps in and around Moab all week. Though we were planning on displaying this year, things got a little hectic at the last minute and we decided to take this year to just enjoy ourselves and get some pictures. And boy did we ever cover some ground! This year's list of trails included Hell's Revenge (parts of it three times!), Fins & Things, Porcupine Rim, Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike, Gold Bar Rim, Pritchett Canyon, and Kane Creek. We also spent some time at some of the big obstacles in Moab, including Potato Salad Hill, the infamous Hot Tubs, Escalator, Golden Crack, and Double Whammy, where we got some great shots of Jeepers doing their thing. We had the opportunity to 'wheel and catch up with a lot of our industry friends and customers as well. If you're even mildly interested in four-wheeling, you need to put the Moab Easter Jeep Safari on your bucket list! Thanks again to the Red Rock Four Wheelers for another great year in Moab!

Rusty's Off-Road is a leader in the four-wheel drive industry with our innovative line of Jeep-specific products. Our in-house manufacturing and R & D keeps our products on the cutting edge. With our in-house manufacturing we are able to control costs and sell retail at wholesale prices without sacrificing quality.

We have over 30 years of hands-on experience in the off-road vehicle industry, which has provided us with the knowledge that few of our competitors can equal. Rusty's has grown from a small business serving a regional market to the worldwide company we are today. We have grown from a small 2 bay shop to an ever-increasing 65,000 square foot manufacturing and warehousing facility. Yes, we too started off with torches and big hammers, but today it's high-tech measuring devices, precision machining centers, lasers, robots and a group of very dedicated employees who produce what we think are the very best off-road products available today.

Below are just a few shots of our facility, our equipment, our people, and our growth over the years. We're proud to say that everything we manufacture is Made in the USA and Trail Tested Tough!

2011 Bantam Jeep Festival

Sunday, August 14, 2011
Butler’s American Bantam Car Company developed, produced and delivered the Bantam model in 1940 in response to the U.S. Army’s request for an all-purpose military vehicle. Nearly 3,000 jeeps were produced at Bantam’s Butler factory in 1940 and 1941. The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is a tribute event for the father of all jeeps, the history behind it, the people who created it, and its birthplace, Butler, Pennsylvania. We got into Butler early Friday and got the new Rusty’s rig parked and set up our display before heading up into town to check out the parade. Man was I ever surprised with the parade, I have been to a lot of Jeep events but I have never seen the local people come out to the streets to help support this event. Saturday was a great day, the weather was great and the people came to play. The event had a jeep show, an off road track, and a vendors row. There where also displays so you could learn of the Bantam Jeep heritage. Saturday was finished up with several bands and the Fabulous Thunderbirds wrapped it up. The night brought us rain and cooler weather but this didn’t slow the people from coming out. Sunday was a great day as well till about 2 and the rain came again. I’m sorry for the lack of pictures but we didn’t have the support crew we needed so we had to stay around our booth most of the time. If you are in the area next year you should make planes to come, we would love to see you.

2011 TORC Race - Charlotte Motor Speedway

Saturday, July 23, 2011
This is the first time the TORC series of off road racing has come to Nascar country. So we decided we needed to be there, what could be better, off road racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway. After getting into Charlotte a little early we knew there was a lot to see so I decided to go by Robby Gordon’s shop, I had not seen the new shop so we headed that way. Robby wasn’t in but the guys in the shop could not have been nicer. They where busy getting ready for Indy but had plenty of time to show us around. One of the guys there told us about the open house at Yates Engines so we made a quick trip over there, where they had a car show and open house. One races shop after another, across the street was Rusty Wallace Racing, next door was Red Bull racing and beside them was Impact-Mastercraft Safety. So we headed back to see our friends from Mastercraft Safety, Robbie Peirce had made the trip from the west coast to race in the evening races. Unfortunately the driveshaft broke and it made a short night of racing. I would like to thank Robbie and Kelli for inviting us into their hospitality tent and for a great evening. It’s so great having friends to do business with.

2011 PA All Breeds Jeep Show

Sunday, July 17, 2011
Every July the PA Jeep show comes around in York, Pa. Every year the show continues to get bigger and better. More people and more Jeeps. It is so great seeing our customers and talking with them. The weather was great, mid July you know it’s going to be hot but we had sunny skies. The show has many vendors, has a Jeep show, a crawl course and a slow crawl event. The PA Jeep Club does a great job in making this happen and we thank them for putting on an event so we can meet our customers and to display our parts. If you are in the area of York Pa. you need to make plans for next years show.

2011 Moab Easter Jeep Safari

Sunday, April 24, 2011
Great wheeling, great friends, great weather, what more could we ask for. This year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari was great. We got to catch up with our friends in the industry as well as some of our customers. We had two rigs there this year, an XJ with our 8.5" Long Arm Kit and a TJ Rubicon with our 3" kit. They both went all over the place: Strike Ravine, Hell's Revenge, Fins & Things, Flat Iron Mesa, Area BFE, and both day and night runs of Moab Rim. We hope to see you all in Moab next year!

2010 Ocala Jeeptoberfest

Sunday, October 24, 2010
The Ocala Jeeptoberfest is located in Ocala Fl. and is put on by the Ocala Jeep Club. We have been going for 5 or so years and we really enjoy coming down for the show and to see all of our friends, the seafood isn’t too bad either. The event is a mud pit; hey we’re in Florida, a rock pile and 2 courses and are finished up with raffle. This year was great; we had great weather a record crowd, there where a lot of vendors and many you wouldn’t expect at a Jeep show. Trent from Flint Creek Outfitters built an on site pond so you could try out his kayaks and boats, well I had to have one. Sunday wrapped up another great show and many raffle prizes where given away. If you’re in Florida you need to come to this event, you’ll have a great time.

2010 PA All Breeds Jeep Show

Sunday, July 18, 2010
Well it’s mid July and that means the PA All Breeds Jeep Show in York, Pa. and as usual a great show with a great turn out. With over 5000 people and 700 show vehicles it was a non stop event. The obstacle course was a great one as usual; many off cambered dirt piles and the 2 level of rock piles gave challenges to everyone.

We would like to thank all of the friends and customers that came by to say Hi; it is a real pleasure to meet the people we talk to on the phones. We had the Rusty’s big rig set up displaying parts and new products, we also had the Xtreme 4x4 Scrambler as well as the Rusty’s 5.5 long arm JK kit. Yes our new 5.5 JK long arm kit.

I want to also thank all the PA Jeep club members for a great event and the warm welcome we received. Next years event will be July 16 & 17 2011, if you are in the area, you need to plan on coming to this event.
