Standard Steel Fender Flares

More clearance, better looks, built to last. Rusty's standard XJ steel fender flares are built from 1/8 inch steel body panels with 3/16 inch flare sections for serious strength where it counts. They are laser cut, CNC formed and robotically welded so there are no visible exterior welds and the fit is exact. The front flares include dual inner reinforcement structures that are strong enough to use a Hi-Lift jack off of if you need to. You get an additional 3.5 inches of tire clearance over the factory openings and a durable satin black powder coat finish that holds up on and off the trail. Available as a front and rear package or front and rear pairs sold separately.

Crawler High Clearance Steel Fender Flares

Built for serious trail rigs that need maximum clearance. The Crawler High Clearance fenders take a more aggressive approach to fender design, cutting back more material and repositioning the fender line to get completely out of the way when your suspension is fully flexed on a technical obstacle. If you are running a long arm kit and big tires and you are pushing your XJ on real rock, the crawler style fenders give you the clearance your build actually needs. What is the difference between the Standard and Crawler High Clearance fenders?

The Standard steel fender flares give you 3.5 inches of additional tire clearance over factory and are a great fit for most XJ builds running a lift and larger tires. The Crawler High Clearance fenders are cut back further and are designed for rigs running long arm suspension and big tires that need maximum clearance on serious obstacles. If you are pushing your XJ hard on technical rock, the Crawler style is the right choice.

Can I use a Hi-Lift jack on Rusty's XJ front fenders?

Yes. The front fender flares include dual inner reinforcement structures that are strong enough to use a Hi-Lift jack off of. That is not something you can say about factory plastic fenders.
