Description
PLEASE NOTE: Early CJs and other early Jeep applications (pre-1976) use 2" wide springs front and rear. Later CJs (1976-1986) use 2" wide springs on the front and 2.5" wide springs in the rear. ALL other Jeep springs are 2.5" wide front or rear. The 2" wide shims will come with 5/16 centering bolts only. If yours has 3/8 centering bolts you will need to order those too.
Our steel shims are billet steel and E-coated to withstand hardcore off-road abuse. Price is per pair. 3° and 6° sizes available. A pair of 5/16" and 3/8" centering bolts are included in all 2.5" wide shims. Shim length is 4.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. These will work with any Jeep using leaf springs.
We recommend the 3° shims for XJs with a 3" lift and the 6° shims for anything higher than that. We do not recommend using shims larger than 6°.
