Description
Our steel shims are billet steel and E-coated to withstand hardcore off-road abuse. Price is per pair. 3° and 6° sizes available. A pair of 3/8" centering bolts are included in all 2.5" wide shims. Shim length is 4.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. These will work with any Jeep using leaf springs.
We recommend the 2.5 wide 3° shims for XJs with a 3" lift and the 6° shims for anything higher than that. We do not recommend using shims larger than 6°.
PLEASE NOTE: On Early CJs and other early model Jeep applications (pre-1976) that use 2" wide springs front and rear, these will come with 5/16 centering bolts. Later CJs (1976-1986) use 2" wide springs on the front will come with 5/16 center bolts. The rear will be a 2.5" wide springs and all 2.5 wide shims come with 3/8 centering blots. So if a CJ rear you may need to order a set of 5/16 centering bolts. The 2" wide shims will come with 5/16 centering bolts only. This only apples to Jeep CJ or pre 86 model Jeeps.
