The design of the Rusty’s 2” Coils for the Jeep JT Gladiator was done in collaboration with the engineers and manufacturing team at Eibach.
With Rusty’s 40 plus years in the off-road and Jeep industry and Eibach’s experience in coil spring design and manufacturing, we came up with a coil spring that offers a quality ride with remarkable handling manners around town, on the highway, and even riding down an old, red clay pot hole road. A combination of just the right spring rate, wire diameter, cold wound coils are heat treated and stress-relieved to improve performance under pressure. The progressive design coil lets you wheel and keep the coils flexy yet give you the coil spring needed to load down the bed with fire wood and keep the rear from sagging and the tires rubbing. They are then powder coated in a bright black finish.
Rusty wanted the best. Best in ride, handling, and articulation. We have done miles of testing from the desert and mountains of the West coast to the moss-covered mountain roads of Tennessee and North Carolina to the swamps of Florida, not to mention driving many highway miles in between.
