Rusty's Drag Link Flip Configuration with the HD Steering System for the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator is a must for the JL and JT vehicles with over 4.5 inches of lift. Vehicles with 4 inches or less will have issues with the drag link making contact with the vehicles frame and limiting the vehicles suspension travel, so you want to make extremely sure just how much lift you have before thinking of installing the Rusty's drag Link Flip.

The Rusty's Drag Link Flip is a great option with vehicles equipped 4.5 inches of lift or more. The more extreme lifts increase drag link and trac bar angles and will contribute to bump steer and may cause the vehicle to wonder. The bump steer is caused by the angles of the drag link and the trac bar being mismatched and not rotating parallel The excessive angles have the drag link pushing down on the axle to turn the wheels rather than pushing the tire in a straight motion. The Rusty's Drag Link Flip moves the drag link mounting point at the knuckle to the top, we have a inserted shim that goes in the knuckle that reverses the taper and allows the drag link to bolt into place. This kit also comes with a new bolt on axle trac bar mount and stabilizer mount to keep the drag link and the trac bar in a parallel motion and aligned. Doing this to the more extreme lifted vehicles will dramatically improve the angles of the drag link and trac bar and will also offer smoother turning and much better handling and all around better driving characteristics of the vehicle.  

Rusty's Drag Link Flip Configuration for the JL/JT Steering System starts with a massive 1.75" x 5/16" diameter wall DOM Tubing for both the tie rod and the drag link. Sold as a complete unit that includes the complete tie rod and drag link assemblies with Rusty's equally massive 1.25 threaded zinc plated forged adjustable tie rod ends, massive jam nuts for the tie rod ends and also comes with serrated washers to insure the jam nuts wont come loose. The Rusty's flip configuration comes complete with the  bolt on axle mounted trac bar and steering stabilizer mounting kit and the knuckle flip insert that does require drilling the upper knuckle to be installed.  

The Rusty's Steering for JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator models is beefier than anything on the market and addresses the factory shortcomings while adding significant strength all at the same time, we have also built a system that is specifically designed for the extremely higher lifted JL Wranglers and JT Gladiators. All tie rod ends and components are available individually as well so replacement in the future you are not stuck having to purchase an entire tie rod or drag link again.
