Rusty’s Front Axle Coil Spring and Shock Mounts are laser cut from 1/4" steel and CNC-formed for a precise fit. These heavy-duty mounts are great for custom axle swaps in Jeep TJ Wrangler, XJ Cherokee, ZJ Grand Cherokee, or any custom build. They also offer an easy solution when putting a coil spring suspension under a CJ or YJ and cut down on the amount of extensive fabrication necessary.
Rusty's mounts are more than simply heavy-duty replacements; these mounts offer several features and upgrades that are Rusty's exclusive! The passenger side bracket includes a built-in track bar mount that has a 1/2" bolt hole rather than the 11 mm factory hardware, which has been known to break. Both mounts also include stronger shock mounts that eliminate the factory-style bar pins, which eliminates shock bind during extreme articulation.
If you are simply repairing stock axle mounts, such as a rust repair, then we recommend using our RC-CSSM10 stock-style mounts that mimic all factory mounting points.
PLEASE NOTE: If these brackets will be used with a hi-steer conversion that includes a relocated track bar mount, then we recommend ordering two driver-side brackets; this will eliminate the stock track bar mount location built into the passenger-side mount and make for a cleaner overall installation.
